Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan lifegain midrange strategy led by Betor, Ancestor's Voice. It converts lifegain and self-inflicted life loss into explosive board growth and recurring graveyard reanimation. Early turns establish mana ramp through spells like Farseek and Nature's Lore while setting up lifegain enablers such as Authority of the Consuls and Serra Ascendant. Once Betor, Ancestor's Voice enters on Turn 4, it quickly grows creatures with +1/+1 counters and reanimates fallen threats. The deck applies lethal clock pressure around Turn 6 by stacking lifelink combat damage with passive drain engines like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Defiling Daemogoth.
