Locust God Final by whiskeyfoxtrot12

Format: Commander

Commander: The Locust God

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Locust God is a wheel-draw token deck that turns every draw into hasty 1/1 Insects and converts mass entry triggers into direct damage. The primary plan casts Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, Witty Roastmaster and Molten Gatekeeper, then wheels with Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, Reforge the Soul and Whirlpool effects to flood the board and ping all opponents. Sage of the Falls with The Locust God forms an infinite Insect/looting loop that wins with any haste combat or Purphoros trigger. Teferi's Ageless Insight and Curiosity Crafter double draws and refill. The commander is the sole token engine and recurs to hand on death; Purphoros and Sage act as hidden commanders as the actual outlets.
