Deck overview

This Boros aggressive midrange deck is led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, converting Dwarf tribal synergy and Treasure generation into overwhelming combat damage. The primary game plan develops early low-cost Dwarves on Turns 1 through 3 to build board presence and generate initial artifact tokens. Casting Thorin on Turn 4 triggers an immediate Treasure and turns every artifact token into a static power buff for all other attacking Dwarves. By Turn 5, artifact totals regularly reach 5 or more, allowing modest Dwarves to swing for lethal chunks of damage, particularly when amplified by double strike from Giott, King of the Dwarves or Dáin Ironfoot. The deck backs up this combat pressure with alternative win conditions like Hellkite Tyrant, deep tribal tutoring from Dwarven Recruiter and Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and premium defensive spells such as Flawless Maneuver and Boros Charm to survive sweepers and close the game across successive combat steps.
