Deck overview

This Sultai Midrange deck is commanded by Thranduil, the Elvenking, blending tribal Elf synergies, graveyard ability copying, and second-draw token triggers. The primary game plan develops mana dorks on Turns 1–3 to cast Thranduil on Turn 4. On Turn 5, deploying any legendary Elf triggers Thranduil to draw two cards and discard an activated-ability Elf, immediately granting Thranduil the ability to tap for 5+ mana via Marwyn, the Nurturer or Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. By Turn 6, the deck converts this mana surplus into wide token engines such as Alandra, Sky Dreamer and Jolrael, Mwonvuli Recluse, while Archfiend of Ifnir continuously wipes opposing boards with -1/-1 counters on every discard. Combat damage finishes the table across Turns 7 and 8.
