Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Orzhov build commanded by Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff that blends blistering Turbo-Naus speed with resilient stax pieces. The deck capitalizes on fast mana rocks, dark rituals, and Lotho's consistent Treasure generation to accelerate its mana development far ahead of curve. Its primary route to victory is the compact two-card infinite combo of Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog, which drains the entire table in a single turn. Alternatively, reanimating Hoarding Broodlord or resolving Ad Nauseam easily accesses game-winning lines such as Bolas's Citadel paired with Sensei's Divining Top and Aetherflux Reservoir. To ensure its win attempts resolve smoothly, the deck deploys premier white silence effects like Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Ranger-Captain of Eos. Concurrently, asymmetric stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate, Opposition Agent, and Cursed Totem stifle opposing competitive strategies, providing exceptional tempo and stability across all stages of play.
