Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul combat-cheat archetype built around Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers. By intentionally restricting the creature count in the 99 to a compact package of five massive game-ending bombs and extra-combat engines—including Worldspine Wurm, Port Razer, Raphael, Tag Team Tough, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum—the deck guarantees that every commander attack trigger deploys an overwhelming threat. Supported by a dense suite of over twenty fast ramp spells and rituals such as Orcish Lumberjack, Sol Ring, and Irencrag Feat, the deck reliably ramps to seven mana to deploy its commander with native haste on Turn 4. Once attacking, chained extra combats from Port Razer or spells like Fury of the Horde and Relentless Assault multiply triggers to overwhelm opponents across one response cycle. A dedicated suite of low-cost protection spells, including Not of This World and Veil of Summer, defends the commander through critical attack windows.
