Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius creature midrange strategy that leverages Faramir, Prince of Ithilien to present opponents with a difficult choice between granting card advantage or generating creature tokens. Backed by defensive attack taxes like Windborn Muse and Dáin, Lord of the Iron Hills, the deck stabilizes the early board while assembling a dense army of Human Soldiers. Win conditions center on scaling this wide board through powerful stat boosters and anthems, including Greymond, Avacyn's Stalwart, Katara, Water Tribe's Hope, and Sally Pride, Lioness Leader. Low-cost counterspells and versatile spot removal protect the setup and disrupt critical opposing plays. While vulnerable to mass board sweepers due to its reliance on ground combat over several turns, the deck maintains steady resilience through redundant token producers, legendary tutors, and graveyard recursion spells.
