Deck overview

Grolnok, the Omnivore leads a synergistic Simic Frog tribal deck that turns self-mill into a massive card-advantage engine. By attacking with Frogs and activating mill artifacts like Perpetual Timepiece, the deck mills permanent cards directly into croak exile, making them castable at any time. Mana dorks and low-cost ramp accelerate Grolnok onto the battlefield by turn 4, while token generators such as Crawling Infestation build board presence. The deck controls opposing threats by neutralizing problematic commanders with permanent-disabling Auras like Witness Protection and Frogify. Once a critical mass of creatures is assembled, the deck closes out the game around turn 6 to 8 by casting game-ending pump spells like Overrun, End-Raze Forerunners, and Thunderfoot Baloth. With strong recovery via persistent croak exile, Grolnok grinds through opposing interaction to overwhelm the table.
