Deck overview

This deck is a five-color combo-midrange deck commanded by Ashling, the Limitless. The primary strategy accelerates into an infinite creature-mana engine using Food Chain alongside creatures castable from exile: Eternal Scourge, Misthollow Griffin, and Squee, the Immortal. Once infinite mana is generated, the deck funnels that mana into casting Ashling, the Limitless, digging through the entire library with Mulldrifter or Risen Reef, and burning out the table with Purphoros, God of the Forge or winning immediately with Thassa's Oracle. If the primary combo is contested, Ashling, the Limitless provides immense card advantage by granting evoke {4} to high-impact Elementals and creating hasty token duplicates when nontoken Elementals are sacrificed. A fully independent backup combo in Thassa's Oracle plus Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact ensures the deck can close the game quickly without relying on Food Chain.
