Deck overview

This Izzet deck is built around Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man, combining artifact curation with a heavy combat-focused midrange game plan. In the early game, Tony Stark deploys on Turn 2 and uses his activated ability to dig four cards deep each turn, filling the hand with high-impact artifacts, equipment, and utility pieces. On Turn 6, Tony transforms into The Invincible Iron Man for {4}{U}{R}, granting him flying, haste, and a combat trigger that cheats an artifact directly onto the battlefield while automatically equipping any dropped equipment. Supported by high-end beaters such as Tri-Sentinel, Act of Vengeance, Thor, God of Thunder, and Krang, Master Mind, the deck pressures opponents through consistent aerial combat. With 44 lands, the deck hits its land drops reliably but lacks fast mana and tutors, resulting in a fair, resilient midrange strategy that closes games around Turn 11.
