Queen Marchesa leads an interactive Mardu pillowfort and control deck designed to control combat, tax enemy actions, and bleed the table over long games. By introducing the monarch mechanic and defending it with rattlesnake deathtouch tokens, attack taxes, and goad spells, the deck generates continuous card advantage while forcing opponents to deplete each other. Life drains from cards like Kambal and Sheoldred slowly grind life totals down, but the primary endgame pivots to infinite combos. The deck wins by tutoring into Heliod, Sun-Crowned with Walking Ballista to ping the table down or Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond to instantly drain every opponent.
