Deck overview

This deck is an Esper spellslinger and life-drain build commanded by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. Rather than relying on infinite combos or storm turns, the deck leverages high-impact noncreature spells (mana value 3 or greater) to trigger continuous table-wide life loss and life gain. Incidental token generation from cards like Transpose, Circle of Power, and Champions from Beyond provides both blockers and an escalating combat clock. Defensive enchantments such as Authority of the Consuls and Propaganda protect your life total while you sculpt your hand using black draw spells and Y'shtola's end-step triggers. The deck controls the board with flexible removal spells before closing the game around Turn 10 through compounded spell triggers and token attacks.
