Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Abzan reanimator strategy centered around Nethroi, Apex of Death. The primary game plan uses low-cost mana dorks to accelerate into efficient graveyard-stocking spells such as Entomb, Buried Alive, and Grisly Salvage. By turns 3 to 4, the deck reanimates massive threats like Razaketh, the Foulblooded, Archon of Cruelty, or Vilis, Broker of Blood to seize control of the board. The endgame revolves around casting Nethroi, Apex of Death for its mutate cost to trigger a mass reanimation loop with Mitotic Slime, Jeskai Barricade, and Phyrexian Altar, generating infinite mana and draining opponents with Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. Premium protection pieces like Grand Abolisher ensure clean combo execution.
