Commander: Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists is a Bant dinosaur midrange deck that ramps into huge trampling creatures and uses the commander's Discover ability to convert graveyard fuel into free spells. The primary plan is to reach seven or more mana, drop Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, then crash in with an unblockable team after flipping Invasion of Ikoria // Zilortha, Apex of Ikoria. Secondary paths include populating tokens with Life Finds a Way, cheating creatures via Smuggler's Surprise, and grinding with Dino DNA and escape. The commander is a repeatable value engine rather than a combo piece; the deck can still function without her, but graveyard hate is a real threat. The hidden commander is the Zilortha side of Invasion of Ikoria, which turns the final swing unstoppable.
