Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-white aggro strategy led by Odric, Lunarch Marshal. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap creatures with potent combat keywords—such as flying, double strike, lifelink, vigilance, and indestructible—during the early turns. Once Odric enters the battlefield on Turn 4, his beginning-of-combat ability shares every keyword across the entire team, instantly transforming modest utility creatures into an overwhelming, evasive, and heavily protected strike force. The deck applies mounting combat pressure starting on Turn 5, using asymmetric sweepers like Mass Calcify and token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar to maintain board dominance. While it lacks stack-based countermagic, fast combo kills, and creature tutors, it compensates with high redundancy among keyword carriers, efficient permanent removal, and steady card draw engines like Welcoming Vampire and Firemane Commando that sustain pressure through multiple combat steps to close out the table by Turn 8.
