Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy strategy built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. It leverages hyper-efficient 1-drop mana accelerators and heavily statted 3-drop creatures like Pugnacious Hammerskull and Steel Leaf Champion to flood the board with power. By Turn 4, the deck routinely accumulates 10 or more total power, allowing Ghalta to be cast from the command zone for just two green mana. Once Ghalta enters, the deck pivots into explosive card draw using effects like Rishkar's Expertise and Return of the Wildspeaker, drawing 12 fresh cards at once. It closes the game on Turns 5–6 through overwhelming trample damage, boosted by finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Railway Brawler. While vulnerable to mass bounce and exile effects, dense instant-speed protection and rapid engine rebuilding keep the deck resilient.
