Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir artifact midrange strategy commanded by Golbez, Crystal Collector. It focuses on accumulating artifacts to unlock Golbez's dual end-step triggers. Early turns prioritize deploying mana rocks and low-cost artifact permanents to reach four artifacts by turn 4, enabling Golbez to recur creatures from the graveyard to hand while smoothing draws via surveil triggers. By turn 6, the deck expands its board presence to eight artifacts using token creators like Sai, Master Thopterist and Retrofitter Foundry. This activates Golbez's second ability, draining each opponent for life equal to the power of high-stat creatures like Bygone Colossus or Triplicate Titan. As an alternate route, wide artifact boards can be converted into flying 4/4 attackers using Cyberdrive Awakener or buffed by Krang, Utrom Warlord. The deck executes a steady, synergistic game plan that closes games around turn 8.
