Deck overview

This Dimir Control deck leverages Toxrill, the Corrosive as a repeatable, asymmetric board wipe and token generator. Supported by a dense suite of 14 mana acceleration pieces and efficient blue cantrips, the deck aims to deploy Toxrill on Turn 5. Once on the battlefield, Toxrill places slime counters on all opposing creatures at every end step, wiping utility creatures and commanders across a single table rotation. These deaths generate 1/1 Slug tokens, which feed card draw engines and trigger drain effects from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Mirkwood Bats. Proliferate engines such as Flux Channeler, Inexorable Tide, and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus accelerate counter placement, while Sludge Monster completely disables opposing creatures. Protective counterspells and pillowfort cards keep the pilot safe until Slug swarms and drain triggers close out the game on Turn 8, with Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation providing a compact backup combo.
