Deck overview

This Magus Lucea Kane deck is a competitive Temur combo list designed to achieve a deterministic, same-turn table elimination through spell duplication. Leveraging a dense suite of format-ceiling fast mana (Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, Sol Ring, Mana Vault) and efficient one-drop dorks, the deck reliably deploys Magus Lucea Kane on Turn 2. On Turn 4, Lucea Kane taps to add mana and copy the next X-spell, enabling a single X=4 creature tutor—such as Finale of Devastation, Nature's Rhythm, or Chord of Calling—to put both Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute and The Red Terror onto the battlefield simultaneously. The combination of Casey Jones dealing damage whenever counters are placed and The Red Terror gaining counters on red damage creates an infinite direct-damage loop that wipes out all three opponents during combat. The plan is heavily insulated by premier free countermagic (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat) and split-second/silence tech like Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun and Allosaurus Shepherd.
