Lathiel budget from goldfish by user9969024

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn is the engine of a Selesnya lifegain-and-+1/+1-counter deck. The primary plan is to gain life every turn, then use Lathiel's end-step trigger to spread counters across the board, turning small lifelinkers into large threats. Secondary paths include the alt-win permanents Felidar Sovereign and Test of Endurance, plus the Light of Promise + Spike Feeder infinite loop. The commander is the central multiplier; without her, the deck still functions through payoffs like Ajani's Pridemate and Nykthos Paragon, but loses its best counter distribution. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Lathiel's trigger.
