Commander: Isu the Abominable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Isu the Abominable is a snow-value commander who turns every snow land and snow spell into topdeck card advantage and a growing body. The deck is built around the Bant snow shell: ramp into Isu on turns 3-5, then chain snow permanents from the top of the library while Isu gains counters. It has a second, independent plan in Marit Lage, reachable through Marit Lage's Slumber or Dark Depths, with Thespian's Stage as a copy. Combat is the only finish: Isu commander damage, Marit Lage's 20/20, and Green token beaters close out games. The deck lacks haste, extra combat, and counterspells, so it wins through incremental value rather than a combo. No separate hidden commander exists; Marit Lage is a backup win condition, not an engine.
