Elves/Faerie Restart by drdr

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant heads a Sultai Elf/Faerie value engine. Every Elf or Faerie ETB exiles two cards from an opponent, then Maralen lets you cast one exiled spell each turn with mana value equal to or less than your creature count. The primary path is to flood the board with cheap creatures and token spells, chaining Maralen triggers into free value spells and eventually finishing with a wide pumped attack or Oona's mana-sink milling. A secondary flash-control path uses Faerie counterspells and instant-speed Elf token spells on opponents' turns. There is no hidden commander; Oona acts as the main alternate payoff. Without Maralen, the deck still functions as a slower elfball, but loses much of its reach and speed.
