Strongest B2 Baylen, Hare Apparent by VegardTveitan

Format: Commander

Commander: Baylen, the Haymaker

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 46

Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Naya token swarm and storm hybrid centered on Baylen, the Haymaker and 27 copies of Hare Apparent. The strategy operates with extreme structural consistency: early turns establish mana fixing and cast initial Hares, deploying Baylen on Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, each subsequent Hare Apparent enters the battlefield and creates an exponentially increasing army of 1/1 Rabbit tokens. Baylen converts these untapped tokens immediately into mana and fresh cards, allowing the pilot to storm through the library, chaining further Hares, token doublers like Delney, Streetwise Lookout, and mass-blink spells like Another Round. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by Turn 5 and typically closes the game on Turn 6 through mass direct damage from Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors, an overwhelming overrun via Craterhoof Behemoth, or an alternate win with Halo Fountain. Exceptional defensive tools like Clever Concealment and Flare of Fortitude ensure the board survives opposing sweepers.
