Commander: Scarlet Spider, Ben Reilly

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This RG deck is a combat-centric cheater-stompy deck built around Scarlet Spider, Ben Reilly's web-slinging cost. The primary plan is to cheat out high-mana-value creatures, attack with them, then return a tapped creature to hand to cast Ben Reilly with a huge pile of +1/+1 counters, turning him into a trampling one-shot with a double-strike enabler. Backup plans involve a fast board of giant tramplers via Kona, Sneak Attack, and Defense of the Heart, and exponential counter growth from Zopandrel or Ancient Bronze Dragon. The deck has no recursion after board wipes and can't stop stack combos, but it can reliably assemble a lethal attack by turn 6-7.
