Hound of the Forgotten Past by Ruffues

Format: Commander

Commander: Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Temur deck operates as an explosive mid-range engine and combo shell helmed by Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist. Pako provides rapid, immediate pressure thanks to haste, exiling four cards per swing to grow into a lethal threat while stocking an exile pool. Haldan unlocks that exiled pool as pseudo-card advantage, letting you play opponents' lands and cast their noncreature spells. Backing this volatile card-advantage engine is an elite suite of free counterspells, efficient interaction, and several compact infinite win conditions, ranging from combat loops to spell-based storm finishes.
