Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color artifact synergy and token aggro strategy led by Karn, Gilded Guardian. The game plan focuses on establishing colored artifacts early using artifact lands, Borderposts, and utility creatures like Baleful Strix and Transguild Courier. On Turn 5, deploying Karn cashes in on these permanents to draw a large burst of cards, replenishing resources for the mid-game. The deck then transitions into a decisive board state by casting powerful mass-animation threats such as Depthshaker Titan, Cyberdrive Awakener, or Krang, Utrom Warlord, which transform mana rocks and tokens into a lethal combat wave. The deck protects its board state through instant-speed phase effects like Clever Concealment and passive ward layers from Bronze Guardian. While vulnerable to mass artifact exile and lacking stack counterspells, the deck boasts resilient draw engines, strong creature tutoring, and devastating combat finishes.
