Deck overview

Killian, Decisive Mentor leads an Orzhov Aura-voltron deck. The central engine is Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice: after Killian, Decisive Mentor reduces an Aura's cost, Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice searches for another suitable Aura and puts it directly onto the battlefield. Sram, Senior Edificer, Kor Spiritdancer, and Mesa Enchantress provide backup card flow, while Open the Armory improves Aura access. The deck also uses Authority of the Consuls, Blind Obedience, Drannith Magistrate, and Sphere of Safety to slow opposing development, plus a substantial creature-removal package. Its strongest supported threat is Super State on Killian, Decisive Mentor, creating a hasty 9/9 with flying, first strike, trample, and damage splash to every opponent. The plan is powerful when assembled, but access to the creature engine is inconsistent, the finisher is expensive, and the normal kill requires several combat steps.
