Massimo, the Magician by SparkyReynolds

Format: Commander

Commander: Massimo, the Magician

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai spellslinger-combat hybrid built around Massimo, the Magician, whose ETB trigger exiles a 1-mana instant or sorcery from the graveyard and grants the entering creature a combat-damage copy effect. The deck floods the yard with cheap cantrips and burn, then deploys a swarm of unblockable creatures that copy and cast those spells for free on contact. A dense Wizard/ETB doubler package - Harmonic Prodigy, Naban, Dean of Iteration, Panharmonicon, Wizard's Staff, Strionic Resonator - multiplies Massimo's trigger into a machine-gun of free Lava Spikes, Boltwaves, and cantrips. The primary win is incremental burn plus evasive combat damage, with Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Prismari, the Inspiration as alternate spell-based finishers.
