Matoya, The Oracle by user9557823

Format: Commander

Commander: Matoya, Archon Elder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This monoblue deck pilots Matoya, Archon Elder as a relentless scry-draw engine. Every Opt, Preordain, or Serum Visions becomes a one-card draw, chaining into triggers that fuel a token swarm (Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Talrand, Sky Summoner, Homunculus Horde) and a slow but inevitable life drain (Psychosis Crawler). The deck wins through combat attrition-overwhelming the table with 2/2 drakes, pump effects from Proft's Eidetic Memory, and the occasional Laboratory Maniac finish after drawing the library. It plays a tempo-control game, using cheap counterspells and bounce to disrupt opponents while its commander turns every scry into pure card advantage.
