Deck overview

This Boros aggro deck is commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, uniting Dwarf tribal synergy with Treasure generation and heavy Equipment support. The primary game plan curves low-cost Dwarves into Thorin on Turn 4, immediately generating Treasure tokens that exponentially scale the power of your creature board. On Turn 5, subsequent Dwarf entries and token doublers produce a rapid surge of artifact tokens, turning an unassuming board of Dwarves into high-power lethal attackers. To safeguard its creature investments, the list features a premiere instant-speed defensive suite—including Clever Concealment, Dawn's Truce, and Boros Charm—which can be repeatedly fetched from the library via Sunforger. If Thorin is answered, high-impact equipment like Colossus Hammer, The Reaver Cleaver, and anthems like Chronicle of Victory allow the deck to pivot smoothly into an independent voltron or stompy game plan, reliably closing games by Turn 7 through decisive combat pressure.
