Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black control deck built around Horobi, Death's Wail. The core strategy is to turn every cheap targeting spell and activated ability into one-shot creature removal, using Horobi's static ability. The deck then capitalizes on the resulting death triggers with cards like Blood Artist, Syr Konrad, the Grim, Harvester of Souls, and Morbid Opportunist to drain opponents, draw cards, and generate treasure tokens. The primary win condition is Revel in Riches, which can be assembled after a few board wipes, while Syr Konrad and The Meathook Massacre provide incremental attrition. The deck is slow and grind-oriented, relying on the commander to stay on the battlefield to maintain its removal engine.
