Deck overview

This deck is an Esper enchantment control and Voltron strategy piloted by Zur the Enchanter. The game plan focuses on casting Zur on Turn 3 or 4, using his attack triggers to search the library for enchantments with mana value 3 or less and place them directly onto the battlefield. Zur establishes card advantage through Rhystic Study and builds defensive pillowfort and tax layers using Rule of Law, Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and the Solemnity plus Phyrexian Unlife damage lock. For victory, Zur scales into an unblockable, lifelinking threat using Steel of the Godhead and All That Glitters, protected by Greater Auramancy and Kaya's Ghostform. The deck also features high-end alternate win conditions including a creature lock with Maha, Its Feathers Night and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, storm potential with Bolas's Citadel, and an infinite life drain combo between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Marauding Blight-Priest.
