Deck overview

This Naya deck is led by Toph, the First Metalbender, focusing on turning lands and nontoken artifacts into a resilient army of animated beaters through the earthbend mechanic. Toph's passive ability grants nontoken artifacts land typing, while her end-step trigger continuously converts lands into 0/0 creatures with +1/+1 counters and built-in recursion on death or exile. The strategy accelerates through early green ramp, establishes Toph on Turn 4, and rapidly compounds counter power using multipliers like Branching Evolution and Solid Ground. By Turn 6, combat enablers like Toph, Greatest Earthbender and Bumi, Unleashed grant double strike, trample, and extra combat phases to push massive damage across the table. Built-in land recursion combined with premier shielding spells like Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention provides outstanding resilience against board wipes, allowing the deck to close games reliably around Turn 7 while asymmetric tools like Hour of Revelation clear opposing defenses.
