Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive combat engine built around Kaalia of the Vast. Kaalia creates massive mana velocity by putting high-impact Angel, Demon, and Dragon creatures directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The deck accelerates into an early Kaalia deployment on turns 2 to 3 using artifacts such as Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Arcane Signet. Once Kaalia attacks on turn 4, she deploys decisive threats like Master of Cruelties for immediate single-target eliminations, Avacyn, Angel of Hope for board-wide indestructible protection, or Vilis, Broker of Blood for massive card draw. A protective suite featuring Grand Abolisher, Flawless Maneuver, and Teferi's Protection shields Kaalia during her vulnerable attack window. In addition to combat damage and extra attack phases from Aurelia, the Warleader and Karlach, Fury of Avernus, the deck features an infinite combat loop with Helm of the Host and Aurelia to close games across two response cycles.
