Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black discard attrition strategy commanded by Tinybones, the Pickpocket. The game plan revolves around rapidly attacking opponents' hands through symmetric and asymmetric discard effects such as Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists, Oppression, and Liliana of the Veil. As opponents lose cards, parity breakers like Waste Not, Geth's Grimoire, and Tinybones, Trinket Thief convert those discards into mana, card advantage, and board presence. Tinybones, the Pickpocket provides repeatable utility by casting high-impact nonland permanents directly from opposing graveyards after connecting in combat. The mid-to-late game transitions from resource denial into decisive finishes using Tergrid, God of Fright to steal discarded permanents, mass reanimation spells like Rise of the Dark Realms and Breach the Multiverse, direct life loss from Painful Quandary and Megrim, or the Bloodchief Ascension plus Mindcrank infinite combo.
