Deck overview

This deck is a classic Golgari Saprolings Aristocrats strategy led by Slimefoot, the Stowaway. The primary game plan revolves around generating wide swarms of 1/1 Saproling creature tokens through Fungus spore counters, token spells, and Slimefoot's activated ability. Once a critical mass of tokens is assembled, the deck leverages death-trigger payoffs like Slimefoot, Bastion of Remembrance, and Mirkwood Bats alongside sacrifice outlets to drain all three opponents simultaneously. Alternatively, wide boards can overrun defenses using pump effects like Overrun. The deck features solid functional redundancy in token producers and aristocrat drain effects, but it lacks nonland tutors, fast mana, and stack interaction. As a result, its game plan develops at a steady, fair pace, assembling its core engine around Turn 5 and threatening lethal damage around Turn 7 to close out the game by Turn 9.
