Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Izzet Spellslinger Burn strategy built entirely around The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell. Operating with zero creature cards in the 99, the deck focuses on casting efficient 4-mana spells, Lessons, and proliferate effects to quickly place three +1/+1 counters onto the commander. Once transformed into The Lord Master of Hell, the commander attacks each turn to trigger Starfall, dealing direct burn damage to all opponents scaled to the volume of noncreature cards in the graveyard. The deck defends this fragile combat win condition using a dense suite of 1-mana hexproof and countermagic spells, while cycling through card-draw engines to continually load the graveyard with ammunition.
