Bria, Otter Tribal - High power by DG9

Format: Commander

Commander: Bria, Riptide Rogue

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a low-curve Izzet Otter/spellslinger deck that wants to chain cheap instants and sorceries into a one-turn kill. Bria, Riptide Rogue is the face, but the real engine is the magecraft/Otter package: Coruscation Mage, Storm-Kiln Artist, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Valley Floodcaller turn every spell cast into damage, Treasures, cards, and untaps. The primary clean kill is Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame or Heat Shimmer for infinite hasty attackers, backed by storm-ish lines through Underworld Breach, Thousand-Year Storm, and Ral, Crackling Wit's emblem into Brain Freeze. Because the combo lines live almost entirely in the 99, Bria acts as an evasion/prowess enabler rather than a required piece, and the deck can keep executing even if she is repeatedly answered.
