Commander: Ramses, Assassin Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ramses, Assassin Lord is a Dimir Assassin deck built to turn one lethal attack into an immediate table win. There is no double-faced commander; Ramses is the intended commander and finisher, while Ezio, Blade of Vengeance is an important searchable backup Assassin. The primary plan is aggressive combat with deathtouch, evasion, and Equipment, using Ramses to convert an opponent losing life into a game win. Secondary paths use Etrata's third hit, Strixhaven Stadium's ten counters, or Vorpal Sword's one-shot ability. The deck draws through Ezio, Rooftop Bypass, and other Assassin triggers, using cheap interaction to keep the one good attacker alive.
