Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Simic combo list captained by Grolnok, the Omnivore. It leverages high mana velocity from fast mana artifacts and green mana dorks to deploy Grolnok or combo engines ahead of curve. The deck uses 16 copies of Persistent Petitioners alongside Grolnok's triggered ability to mill large chunks of the library, exiling permanents with croak counters that remain castable as an extended hand. Alternatively, the deck can bypass Grolnok entirely using the two-card combo of Thought Lash and Thassa's Oracle to exile its library at instant speed and win on the spot. Supported by a robust suite of free countermagic, silence effects like Dosan the Falling Leaf, and creature tutors, the deck presents resilient, high-speed win attempts around Turn 3 while disrupting opposing win attempts efficiently.
