Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange strategy led by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan revolves around generating cheap creature tokens and using polymorph effects—including Jace's -3 ability, Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny—to flip tokens into high-mana game-ending bombs. The creature suite features threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, and Darksteel Angel. While the deck includes dense two-mana ramp to deploy its commander by turn 4, its creature lineup also contains low-cost utility creatures, preventing guaranteed deterministic polymorph hits.
