Deck overview

This deck is commanded by The Jolly Balloon Man, a Boros commander that creates temporary 1/1 flying, haste token copies of your creatures for just one mana. The game plan focuses on cloning high-impact creatures with powerful enter-the-battlefield or death triggers, particularly legendary Dragon Spirits like Ao, the Dawn Sky and Atsushi, the Blazing Sky. Because the cloned tokens are legendary, the legend rule immediately sends them to the graveyard, triggering their death abilities on demand while generating Treasure tokens and cheating permanents onto the board. Trigger doublers such as Delney, Streetwise Lookout, Ertha Jo, Frontier Mentor, and Mondrak, Glory Dominus exponentially amplify these effects. The deck closes games through flying token combat damage, myriad swarms, and direct aristocrats burn via Impact Tremors, Arabella, Abandoned Doll, and Goblin Bombardment, while defending its board with efficient protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver.
