Elf king by Retr0mp10

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads an elf-combo deck that turns the graveyard into a second hand. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with mana-dork Elves, cast Thranduil, and use his gained tap abilities to generate huge mana. Staff of Domination or Sword of the Paruns then untaps him for an infinite-mana loop, which finds Exsanguinate or activates Lathril's drain. A secondary beatdown plan uses Elf tokens, +1/+1 counters, and mass pump from Immaculate Magistrate, Tyvar, the Pummeler, and Timberwatch Elf. Lathril functions as a hidden finisher, and Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler supplies haste, milling, and recursion. The deck is threat-dense but depends heavily on its commander and graveyard.
