[Primer] Swole Mole - Anzrag EDH by user3272266

Format: Commander

Commander: Anzrag, the Quake-Mole

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Anzrag is a RG voltron/beatdown deck built around forcing blocks to generate extra combat phases. The commander is the primary engine: once equipped with trample and protected by indestructible effects such as Anara, Hajar, or Mithril Coat, each blocked attack untaps everything and adds another combat, letting a single attack phase snowball into lethal commander damage. Secondary plans include pumping Anzrag with Xenagos, switching to infect with Grafted Exoskeleton, or simply curving out with big RG threats and fight spells. The deck includes 37 lands, a dense dork/ramp suite, and over 20 protection pieces, making it resilient to removal but dependent on having blockers available to feed its extra-combat mechanic.
