Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Voltron and theft strategy centered on Kotis, the Fangkeeper. Kotis features innate indestructible and a potent combat damage trigger that exiles cards from the defending opponent's library and casts any number of nonland spells with mana value equal to or less than the damage dealt without paying their mana costs. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with 1–2 CMC ramp, deploys Kotis by turn 3, and equips high-impact power buffs or evasion pieces like Blackblade Reforged, Power Fist, Fireshrieker, or Aqueous Form on turn 4. On turn 5, Kotis attacks for heavy combat damage, triggering free casts of opponents' spells to establish a dominant board state while threatening rapid commander-damage eliminations. Supported by mutate threats like Brokkos, Apex of Forever and force multipliers like Unnatural Growth and Felix Five-Boots, the deck closes the game by turn 7.
