Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos big-mana and aggressive combat deck helmed by Ozai, the Phoenix King. Ozai acts as both a rapid clock and a mana battery, converting all unspent mana into red mana that persists across phases and turns while gaining flying and indestructible once six or more mana is banked. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost mana rocks, firebending creatures, and rituals to ramp ahead of curve. Once Ozai enters on turn five, he attacks immediately with haste, generating four red mana through firebending and beginning the mana-hoarding engine. Stored mana is then converted into overwhelming win conditions, such as a game-ending Torment of Hailfire, a board-clearing Chandra's Ignition, or chained combat steps with Port Razer. Supported by robust creature removal, damage multipliers, and equipment protection, the deck reliably creates a lethal must-answer threat by turn six and eliminates the table around turn eight.
