Deck overview

This Golgari deck is a graveyard-centric midrange and reanimator strategy piloted by The Mycotyrant. The primary objective is to aggressively fill the graveyard using high-density self-mill enablers like Hermit Druid, Stitcher's Supplier, and Golgari Grave-Troll, triggering the commander to amass an army of Fungus creature tokens. These tokens provide mana acceleration through Cryptolith Rite and Insidious Roots, while also serving as sacrifice fodder for Greater Good and Dread Return. While the token swarm can overwhelm opponents via Beastmaster Ascension, the deck's primary win condition is assembling Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord alongside a massive Lord of Extinction or executing a devastating Living Death. Sacrificing a 40+ power creature to Jarad deals lethal direct life loss to the entire table simultaneously. The deck boasts strong engine recovery and redundant reanimation lines, but it remains susceptible to targeted graveyard hate and lacks stack-based interaction.
