Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon, built to exploit the commander's eminence cost reduction and its attack-triggered card advantage. The primary game plan is to ramp early with mana dorks and rocks, deploy high-impact dragons like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm and Terror of the Peaks, and overwhelm opponents through combat damage and triggered abilities. Secondary win conditions include direct damage from Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas, as well as Tiamat tutoring a hand of dragons. The deck is a classic battlecruiser strategy that aims to out-value opponents in the late game.
