New Untitled Deck by user6822381

Format: Commander

Commander: Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black deck is built entirely around Tergrid, God of Fright's ability to steal permanents opponents sacrifice or discard. The primary strategy is to deploy symmetrical sacrifice and discard effects (Fleshbag Marauder, Smallpox, Pox, Bottomless Pit, Oppression) and then use Tergrid to put those cards from graveyards onto the battlefield under your control. This generates overwhelming card advantage and board presence. Win conditions are gradual: drain via Gray Merchant of Asphodel with high devotion, a massive Torment of Hailfire, or an Aetherflux Reservoir after chaining spells from Bolas's Citadel. The deck has no infinite combos and relies on attrition to grind out each opponent.
