Deck overview

The deck is a five-color Dragon tribal strategy centered on Morophon, the Boundless. Its main resource conversion is to cast the seven-mana commander, choose Dragon, and reduce the colored portions of later Dragon spells to zero. The best follow-up is Tiamat, which costs only {2} and searches for five differently named Dragons. Those cards support a value-and-damage engine involving Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Terror of the Peaks, Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, and Balefire Dragon. Ramp and fixing are adequate, and the deck has several strong draw engines and counterspells. Its main weakness is that the pieces are expensive and only partly tutorable. The deck also lacks a compact win condition: it must build a board, obtain haste or wait for combat, and deal enough damage to three separate opponents. It is therefore a strong casual or high-power tribal deck, but not a cEDH construction or a reliable fast-combo deck.
